African antelopes like plenty of attention

1. Can anyone learn to communicate with animals ?

Yes, but some people are more sensitive and open than others and learn more quickly. Some people definitely have an easier time than others, particularly the more creative and artistic rather than the scientific and analytical types.

2. How can I learn to communicate with animals ?

The key is being able to listen well, which means becoming sensitive to our intuitive abilities. To allow ourselves to really feel what the animal feels. Willingness to listen and realise that you can learn a great deal from animals, to discard condescending attitudes that animals are lower, or less intelligent beings is a major factor in opening up receptivity. This kind of attitude blocks true communication with animals, just as it does with humans. Regard animals with respect, openness and as potential teachers, and this alone will help open the communication lines and your outlook in general. We all had this ability when we were born and as children but then generally socialized to use verbal language as the more accepted mode of communication. So in actual fact we are just relearning this skill. It is like a muscle that just needs exercise, and some of us need more exercise than others. It is up to you how much patience and determination you have and how much practice you are prepared to do as to how well this skill develops. You can begin by reading books, and attending workshops.

3. Do you have to be psychic to communicate with animals ?

No, you do not need to be psychic to communicate with animals. You just need to love and respect animals, be prepared to listen to them and believe that it is indeed possible.

4. Why do people use animal communicators ?

Because people are devoted to their animals and want to make them as happy as possible! Animal communicators offer people a way to achieve that by finding out how their animal thinks and feels about life, about you and if they have any special needs or problems that need addressing. It allows a greater understanding, cooperation, and happiness in what usually develops into a deeper bond or relationship between animal and human.

5. What do animals say to you when they talk to you ?

They give me their viewpoints on what is happening with them and what they wish communicated to their persons. They are usually willing to answer any questions about what they think and what they want, or any problems they are having. They discuss their purpose for being with their person, and any special messages for their person or persons.

6. Are animals just like us in the way they think and feel ?

Absolutely, they reason, they laugh, they fall in love, they get angry, they hope and dream, they get hurt, they grieve and they play a big part in the direction and guidance of our life paths. Basically animals experience all the emotions we do and in a lot of cases a greater scope when it comes to unconditional love, unprecedented levels of forgiveness, respect and loyalty. We certainly have a lot to learn from them. Except for the many animal lovers on this planet who feel this inner connection and know the magic animals possess, there are many who think they are merely bred for their exploitation.

7. Can you find lost animals ?

Yes it is possible for me to locate lost animals, although this is an area of great unpredictability. It can depend on whether the animal is still alive, if the information you receive has recognizable landmarks such as street names or buildings etc, and not just being told there is a bush or tree nearby. On some occasions the animal has decided to leave of their own accord and does not wish to be found.

8. Can you talk to animals if they are no longer living ?

Yes, you can. When you talk to an animal when they have passed over you are actually making a connection with their soul, or their eternal essence. It is difficult to know when making this connection whether they are dead or alive unless you definitely know beforehand. However, I have found in a lot of cases the connection feels subtly different, softer or the energy gentler.

9. How can I tell the difference between actually receiving information from an animal or it being just my imagination ?

Because you have been with yourself for some time and have hopefully become familiar with your own thought patterns and processes, you will realize with practice that intuitive data has a different feel to it. It comes in quicker and seems to be more forefront in your mind and also can have emotions attached to it. We only talking about subtle differences but you get to feel and know the difference. You can also realize this because the information and the way it is coming in is not the way you would normally process it. Of course the true way of knowing is if you can quieten your own mind then this information has to be the animals.

10. Are some animals you talk to more intelligent than others ?

Absolutely not. Whether you talk to wild animals, domestic, reptiles or even insects their minds are no more or less complicated. In fact it is the humans that have sometimes paled in comparison to the levels of emotion and intelligence when talking to some of the animals that I have experienced. That is why it is amazing when experiements are carried out on animals or hunters ruthlessly kill animals believing they don’t feel anything or they have what they believe is a lack of intelligence and say "It is only an animal". I think this says something about human intelligence?

11. Can animals tell us when they wish to say goodbye ?

Yes there are ways of setting up signals with your animal prior so you will recognize when the time is close. Also they can also communicate to you if they need human assistance. This is certainly a load of the guardian if it is the animal's decision. Sometimes they just choose to go of their own accord.

12. Do we have the right to eat animals ?

This is a big question. I would never outrightly condone the death of any animals under any situation. However in this world we live in and the way it is at least it would be of some consolation if the animals that were to be used for food, in the short time they have could have a relaxed, enjoyable and loving environment. When the time comes if it could be painless and quick instead of torturous as it is in most cases. If this behaviour occurred with domestic animals there would be a public outcry. But I guess as usual money speaks louder than compassion. Who made humans masters of the earth anyway! Answer ? humans did.
